Extensive reference to process perspectives can be found in the International Encyclopedia of Systems and Cybernetics
edited by Charles François [K. G. Saur Verlag, München, 1997].
The particular process approach originating with the Chicago group is described in "Process Theory" article,
the longest in the book according to François. In addition to there are articles on "Process Thermodynamics",
'Creation (Co-)", "Action graphs", "Complex, supremacy of the)", "Priority of the
simple", "Opposites". Because of its date of publication, the Encyclopedia does not include some
of the central concepts of process theory, such as bios, novelty, and the process
equation.
